Magic DA drafting
Innistrad 2 dark ascension 1. Green black aggro. I got some solid creatures, couldve used a little more removal. Round 4 i played a blue white deck, the games were really slow, so on game 3 i kept three lands a 4 creatures with 4 cmc. He had a 1 2 3 drop and just out aggroed me. Nothing i could really do. To note, grim backwoods plus undying.
Bomb card, curse of deaths hold
otherwise it was just aggro
Came in 2nd out of 12 I think.
Contains odor-fighting “atomic robots” that “shoot lasers” at your “stench monsters” and replaces them with fresh, clean, masculine “scent elves.

Draft Dark Ascension 1 Innistrad 2
I made a blue black deck, grip tide is just awesome, I had 6 bounce cards total. I lost in the finals because I kept a 5 land hand. Nothing really to note, there were only 6 people last night.
Don’t keep one landers, or 5+. I didn’t see any awesome combos or anything or that sort.
If you search for tenderness it isn’t hard to find. You can have the love you need to live. But if you look for truthfulness You might just as well be blind. It always seems to be so hard to give. I got a Fat Pack and a Booster set this Thursday night. I found two of these in the Fat Pack, and one in the Booster.

was talking to the guys at my local store and they swear fat packs have much better…whats the term…”drop rate?” of rares and mythics.
This is the dirtiest thing I’ve ever seen in the Standard environment, and I haven’t even been in that scene for nearly 2 years.

Also, apparently this works on ‘you lose the game’ clauses? So you could potentially have Phage the Untouchable as a Commander?

Dark Ascension Drafting 2
Day two of drafting. Today was 2 packs of Dark Ascension and 1 Innistrad.
Again undying is clearly overwhelming but with a little foresight I did a lot better, I came in 3rd out of 10 due to drawing too many lands in game 3 of one of my matches.
Blue Black I felt was the best combination for M12, and I think it is going to be beast with Dark Ascension. It has the best removal. Griptide and tragic slip plus that 5 mana black spell to destroy target creature is boss. Next you have some sweet creatures like Farbog Boneflinger, Stormbound geist, niblis of the breath just a few that I got. Undying evil is very good.
Second pack I opened Havengul Lich. Awesome pull, it did win me a game. Basically you can keep casting your creatures out of your grave yard with him to keep up chump blockers until you get your win cards out. In anything with black or blue in the deck you can steal their graveyard creatures and stop enemy skaabs.
Rooftop Storm. I didn’t use it, it was used against me. You should consider this a bomb now with all the zombies and zombie lord. Doing stuff like Diviniation, then playing 2 zombies for free is awesome. Especially when they are Rotting fensnake.
With Innistrad in the mix, and some better removal I was basically blue black control, with Havengul lich, murder of crows, helvault, falkenrath noble, and 2 stitchers apprentice.
Instead of drafting removal I tried to draft, “stall”? cards. Things like Griptide, lantern spirit, and niblis of breath. This is an effective way of dealing with small undying creatures without trading with them.
Next draft is Thursday, not sure if I will be able to go or not yet depends on when the money comes in.
